SMS Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the personal SMS messaging service ("the Service") handles information in connection with text messages exchanged with it. The Service is a private, individually operated tool that sends and receives automated informational text messages.

What is collected

The Service processes the content of text messages you send and the mobile phone number tied to them, only so it can generate and return an automated reply. It does not collect names, payment information, location data, or any other personal information beyond what a message itself contains.

How it is used

Message content and the associated number are used only to operate the Service: to process a request and deliver a response. Nothing is used for marketing, profiling, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to providing the reply you asked for.

Sharing

Messages travel through standard telecommunications and messaging infrastructure (a messaging provider and mobile carriers) strictly to be delivered. Those providers process message data only to carry the message, under their own policies.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or lead generators.

Retention

Message data is kept only as long as needed to operate the Service and is not retained for secondary purposes.

Stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
